We are committed in transferring knowledge to companies, in particular SMEs working in emerging technologies. In order to do so, we actively involved in innovation projects in the field of materials science and advanced electrical and optical metrology.

    • Currently, we are educating junior researchers to develop an ultaflexible tactile sensor, device with potential to be used in different applications such as augmented reality, robotics or e-Health.
    • Previous innovation activities:
      1.  Patent Application WO2019219645 “Gas sensor comprising graphene and a method to sense gases”. (2019) [link]
      2.  Discovery grant. Project “NanoGas- Test sensitive graphene-based H2S gas sensor in an industrial setting”. Knowledge transfer to the company Danish Gas Center (DGC). Grant no. 99985-10, G-1. (2019).
      3.  Patent Application WO2013131586 “Three dimensional nanosculptured structures of high surface-atom mobility materials and method of making the same” (2013) [link]
